Today we first visited the Cana Catholic Wedding Church built at the location where Jesus performed His first miracle. Many of our group renewed their wedding vows in the side chapel.

This is supposed to be the type of vase that held the water the Jesus turned into wine. This is a service that was going on in the main chapel.

This is the Church Of The Annunciation built where the angel told Mary that she was with child. It was too dark inside to get a decent picture. When we returned to the bus Pastor Mike led us in the morning devotion.

This is a typical side street in Cana. Next we visited Zippori. this is an arial view of the area.

Many homes and structures have been uncovered. This is a fortress that has been restored.

This is a synagogue floor that has been uncovered. It is a very well preserved mosaic pattern.

We then traveled to Megiddo which had been destroyed and rebuilt 25 times. This is the area where the battle of Armageddon will occur.

With the many layers of destruction not much can be recovered.

Our final stop of the day was at the port city of Caesarea where the great structures of King Herod were uncovered. This is the most beautiful amphitheatre any of us has ever seen.

Also uncovered was this hippodrome used for sporting events. The seating on the Mediterranean side was completely gone. It was very chilly and windy here today. Here we are sheltered by this wall while waiting for our guide.

This is some of the inner port area. Here is a main arch leading into the port area.

Much of the area is surrounded by these types of walls and moat. We checked into The Olive Tree Hotel in Jerusalem tonight.

This aquaduct was built to transport spring water to Caesarea from seven miles away for drinking water. This was the best supper we have had so far.
